.36- <br />Should the run of any pipe supplying any fixture exceed <br />twenty feet in length, a pipe of the next large size shall <br />be provided for such excess. <br />All water piping to fixture must be that specified for <br />service piping except that pickle plated brass piping of <br />equal strength may be used for fixture connections. <br />Section CXXXV. The plumbing inspector is further <br />directed and authorized to make the inspection of the water <br />service connections in all buildings erected after the passage <br />of this ordinance and in all buildings erected prior to its <br />passage whenever change or alterations are made and if <br />contrary to the provisions of this ordinance condemn and <br />remove or cause to be removed all such work. <br />Section CXXXVI. The plumbing inspector shall make a <br />report of each inspection of water service connection to <br />the City Water Department and the City Water Department must <br />not start service through any connection until said <br />inspectors approval has been filed. <br />Section CXXXVII. The word "Fixture or Fixtures" as <br />used in this ordinance shall mean and include bath tubs, <br />lavatories, commodes, flush tanks, kitchen sinks, hot water <br />tanks, water heaters, boilers and any other part Of plumbing <br />that is both trapped and vented,although not particularly <br />named or described herein. <br />Section CXXXVIII. It shall be unlawful for any person <br />to sell, exchange, keep for sale, or offer for sale, within <br />the City of South Bend, or the police jurisdiction thereof <br />any fixture .as hereinabove defined whether new or second- <br />hand, unless the same has securely attached thereto a label <br />or sticker containing thereon the name of City of South <br />Bend, a serial number and signature of the Plumbing Inspector <br />of the City of South Bend or a facsimile of such signature <br />engraved thereon. <br />
