-33- <br />or reducers shall be used. <br />Section CXXI. All work as herein described shall be <br />performed under the entire supervision of an employing <br />master plumber, properly licensed as herein provided, except, <br />however, that no plumbing work of any kind may be done, or <br />any addition to any plumbing including repairs may be done <br />unless the original plumbing meets all the requirenents set <br />forth in the various sections of this ordinance. In the <br />event that an addition to any plumbing is required and the <br />original plumbing job does not conform to this ordinance, <br />a test of the entire plumbing job must be made by the master <br />plumber before making any addition thereto or alteration <br />thereon. If this test shows that the plumbing installed does <br />not meet with the requirements of this ordinance the master <br />plumber shall notify the plumbing inspector of this fact and <br />the plumbing inspector shall proceed under this ordinance. <br />In all cases of additional plumbing to any plumbing job that <br />has been installed in accordance with this ordinance a test <br />shall be made of the additional plumbing work only. <br />Section CXXII. When any building as defined in section <br />three of this ordinance becomes vacant where water service <br />is available the plumbing inspector must before the building <br />is occupied inspect all plumbing and any defective plumbing <br />or plumbing that does not conform to this ordinance shall <br />be reported to the Board of Public Health by said plumbing <br />inspector. This report shall be in writing and shall <br />specifically state wherein the plumbing is defective or <br />wherein it does not comply with this ordinance and the use <br />of said plumbing shall be prohibited by the Board of Health <br />until it is repaired or altered and meets with the re- <br />quirements of this ordinance. <br />Section CXXIII. Brass ferrules shall be best quality <br />brass, not less than 42 inches long and 22f 32 and 42 inches <br />in diameter, and not less than the standard weight. <br />
