The <br />thickness of the tapped ends to be one and one -half (12) times <br />the thickness of the corresponding pipe. <br />Section LXIII. Glazed tile sewer pipe may be used in <br />connection with repairing of any glazed tile sewer now in use <br />in the City of South Bend but must not be less than 6 inches <br />in diameter. The entire drain shall have a solid support <br />for the hub ends of crocks. <br />Section LXIV. Joints between the hub and spigot shall <br />be well <br />filled <br />with <br />mortar made <br />of one (1) <br />part clean sharp <br />sand to <br />one (1) <br />part <br />cement. <br />Each joint shall be carefully banked, wiped and cleaned, <br />Underground joints between earthenware and iron pipe shall <br />be made the same as above required for earthenware pipe. <br />All joints shall be left with a smooth interior surface. <br />Section LXV. Yards and areas shall be properly graded <br />and drained. When the drain from said yeard or area is <br />connected with the house drain it shall be effectually trapped. <br />Section LXVI. All main and branch soil, waste and vent <br />and revent pipes shall be of iron, lead, brass or copper. <br />Section LXVII. Every building in which water closets <br />are installed shall have at least one four (4) inch soil <br />Pipe stack extending through the roof, with increaser as <br />herein specified. <br />Section LXVIII. All soil and waste pipes into which the <br />various fixtures discharge shall be extended not less than <br />one foot above the roof of the building at the high side of <br />
