-19- <br />All shall be coated at the factory with asphaltum or <br />coal tar pitch inside and outside. <br />Section LX. All wrought iron or mild steel pipe used <br />for soil, waste or vent pipes shall be thoroughly galvanized <br />inside and outside, and not lighter than the commercial <br />grade known as "Full weight." <br />The fittings and couplings for wrought iron or mild <br />steel waste, soil or refrigerator waste shall be threaded <br />cast iron or brass recessed drainage fitting3 with smooth <br />interior waterway and threads tapped out of solid metal, so <br />as to give a uniform grade to branches of not less that 4" <br />per foot. <br />Threaded fittings for vent pipe or revent pipes shall <br />be brass galvanized malleable iron or cast iron fittings <br />of the drainage type. All pipes used for soil or waste <br />pipes under basement floors must be extra heavy cast iron soil <br />pipe. <br />Section LXI.
