shall have worked at the trade of practical plumbing for a period of at least five (5) years and shall have passed the examination herein+ after provided for. Section 8: Any person desiring to secure a license as a plumbing contractor, commonly known as a 23aster Plumber, shall make application therefor upon a form to be provided by the Board of Health, provided, however, that in case of a firm, partnership or corporation such application '=at be made by a duly authorized and designated agent of such firm, partnership or oorporation. At the time of making such application such applicant shall pay to the Board of Health the sum of Fifteen ($15x00) dollars as a fee for the examination. Thereafter at a time and place designated by the Board of Health said applicant shell submit himself before the examining board hereinafter provided for, and answer such questions as may be asked of him by said board or any member thereof relative to the knowledge required by a plumbing oon. traotor, If said applicant properly answers sufficient questions and performs such practical tests to qualify him in the Judgement of said board shall report their findings in writing to the Board of Health. The examination shall be held in the City hall at South Bend, Indiana. Section 9: An applicant who has failed to pass a satisfactory examination may re -apply for another examination after the expiratia of sixty (60) days by filing another application aj* paying the prescribed fee. Section 10% Examination fees and licenses% Any person desiring to work as a Journeyman Plumber or at plumbing in this city shall be required to submit to an examination before the Board of Examiners herein provided for as to his experience and qualifioatioite in such trade; provided, however, that any person now engaged in the plumbing trade as Journeyman Plumber in this city who has been so engaged for a period of five (5) years or more shall, upon satisfactory proof made therefor, and by filing a verified statement showing his name, address and length of time he has actually served as a Journeyman plumber, and upon the payment of two ($2.00) dollars to the City Comptroller, upon recommendation by the Hoard of Health, be entitled to receive from the. City Comptroller a Journeyman's license without further examination.
