Section 110 Application for license, A ,journeyman Plumber de. siring a license authorizing him to engage in the trade as Journeyman plumber shall make application with the Board of Examiners on forms to be furnished by the Board and shall pay with the filing of the application a fee in the sum of Fifteen ($16,00) dollars. Subsequent to the filing of this application and at the next meeting of the Board of Examiners the applicant shall submit himself to an examination, either oral or written or both, and also shall perform such praotioal plumbing work as the Board shall direct. If the applicant ahall,in the opinion of the Board, have satisfactorily passed the examination said applicant shall be entitled to a license as Journeyman Plumber and the Board shall cause proper notice to issue to the Board of Health, which said last mentioned Board shall notify the Comptroller to issue a Journeyman's license to the applicant upon the payment of a fog in the sum of two 38400 ) dollars. Section let Fees for license and bonds Every applicant for a plumbing contractor's license having passed a satisfactory examination hereunder shall receive from the Board of Health a certificate of re_ commendation to the Comptroller of said City for the issuance to said applicant of an original annual license upon the payment of the sum of Fifty ($50.00) dollars and an annual renewal license upon the payment Of Fifteen ($1500) dollars to said City but before such license is issued the applicant shall furnish a bond with surety to the approval of the Comptroller of said City in the penal sum of Two Thousand ($2,0004,00) Dollars, conditional to reimburse said City of South Bend for all the damages caused by any act or omission of said plumbing contractor or any of his agents, to any property which the city may oven or for which it may be responsible, 801 tW?hold said City of South Bend free and harmless from all claims, for damages on account of the negligence or misfeasance of the plumber and from all cost and expense growing out of the defense of such claims. Said bond is to be in force from the date of its acceptance and the issuance of license by said Comptroller for a term of one (1) year, and both license and bond mast be renewed annually, and no other bond shall be required of such plumber
