I <br />water mains, which are or may become accessible, and such oonneotions <br />shall be deemed to be acoessible, when such public sewer or publio water <br />mains are within Fa distance of one hundred (100) feet of aqy outside <br />line of the lot upon which said building may be situated. <br />.Section 150: 11lhen the public sewer is not accessible as herein <br />provided the said building or buildings may be connected with a cesspool <br />located not less then twenty- -five (25) feet away from any building used <br />for human habitation, or within fifty (50) feet of any watertight cistern <br />or within one hundred (100) feet of any source of any router supply, and <br />some must be built under hermit from the Plumbing Inspeotor. <br />The cesspool shall be built to receive a cast iron or steel cover <br />of not lees than fifteen (16) inoh.es'in diameter. No cesspool or privy <br />vault or similar means of sewerage disposal shall be used in connection <br />with any apartment house or tenement, but every such house shall have <br />its plumbing system directly connected with the public sewer. <br />Ilea cesspools are built they shall be constructed or erected under <br />a permit granted by the .Plumbing Inspector, in accordance with the proviaw <br />ions of this ordinance, and with reference to permits issued for plumbing <br />or house drainage work, so for as same may be applicable. <br />Brick or other material equally as good, shall be used in the con- <br />struction of all oesspoolal provided, such other material shall not be <br />used unless speofally authorized by the Inspector in a special permit <br />therefor, issued in the same manner as herein provided for the regular <br />permit for assepoolso Provided, that the person signing and filing said <br />statement shall deposit the sum of one ($140) dollar and fifty cents for <br />each cesspool described in said statement. <br />Scction 1.131, In any case any cesepoal is ,allowed, because of in.• <br />ability to conneot with a publio sewer, then, or as soon thereafter as <br />it becomes possible to make such sewer connections; such cesspool shall <br />be cleaned out, and filled with fresh earth and the sewer connection <br />made. All cesspools shall be left open for inspection as herein provided• <br />Within forty »eight (48) hours after the completion of any cesspool, <br />notice thereof shall be given the Plumbing Inspector in the some manner <br />and by the person or persons as herein provided with reference to notices <br />
