M. There shall be added to Section 55, clause (b) <br />of Article,,V a paragraph 4 to read as follows: <br />4. At speeds greater than those designated by <br />signs erected by authority of the Board of Public <br />Works and Safety at an intersection or other place <br />or places or upon any part of any street or highway. <br />N. Section 81, clause (b) of Article VI shallread <br />as follows: <br />In that portion of the city included within <br />the following boundaries, to -wit: <br />Beginning at the North line of Madison <br />Street and the West side of the St. Joseph <br />River; thence West and Northwest along the <br />North line of Iuadison Street to the West line <br />of William Street; thence Southwest and South <br />along the West line of William Street produced <br />South to the South line of South Street; thence <br />East along the South line of South Street to <br />the West line of LaFayette Boulevard; thence <br />South along the West line of LaFayette Boule- <br />vard to the South line of Bronson Street pro- <br />duced West; thence East along the South line <br />of Bronson Street to the East line of Carroll <br />Street; thence North along the ]last line of <br />Carroll Street to the South line of Jefferson <br />Boulevard; thence East along the South line <br />of Jefferson Boulevard to the West side of the <br />St. Joseph River; thence North along the West <br />side of the St. Joseph River to the place of <br />beginning. <br />no pedestrian shall cross from one side to the other <br />side of any street except upon a marked or unmarked <br />crosswalk, and no such crossing shall be made by a <br />pedestrian at any alley, any court or any street <br />less than35 feet wide. <br />SECTION II. Any and all schedules referred to in <br />the ordinance numbered 3146 and entitled as above set forth <br />are stricken,r epealed and made null and void. All streets, <br />highways and any and all public places to which any of the <br />foregoing schedules apply shall be governed in accordance with <br />the signs erected by legally authorized authority and such <br />- 5 - <br />
