M. There shall be added to Section 55, clause (b) of Article,,V a paragraph 4 to read as follows: 4. At speeds greater than those designated by signs erected by authority of the Board of Public Works and Safety at an intersection or other place or places or upon any part of any street or highway. N. Section 81, clause (b) of Article VI shallread as follows: In that portion of the city included within the following boundaries, to -wit: Beginning at the North line of Madison Street and the West side of the St. Joseph River; thence West and Northwest along the North line of Iuadison Street to the West line of William Street; thence Southwest and South along the West line of William Street produced South to the South line of South Street; thence East along the South line of South Street to the West line of LaFayette Boulevard; thence South along the West line of LaFayette Boule- vard to the South line of Bronson Street pro- duced West; thence East along the South line of Bronson Street to the East line of Carroll Street; thence North along the ]last line of Carroll Street to the South line of Jefferson Boulevard; thence East along the South line of Jefferson Boulevard to the West side of the St. Joseph River; thence North along the West side of the St. Joseph River to the place of beginning. no pedestrian shall cross from one side to the other side of any street except upon a marked or unmarked crosswalk, and no such crossing shall be made by a pedestrian at any alley, any court or any street less than35 feet wide. SECTION II. Any and all schedules referred to in the ordinance numbered 3146 and entitled as above set forth are stricken,r epealed and made null and void. All streets, highways and any and all public places to which any of the foregoing schedules apply shall be governed in accordance with the signs erected by legally authorized authority and such - 5 -
