parking at any place or places where parking is <br />hereafter prohibited by said Common Council. <br />.� Section 35 of Article IV shall read as follows: <br />d "PARKING TIME LIRMITED IN DESIGNATED PIACES." <br />When signs are erected by authority of the Board <br />of Public 'Works end Safety, no person shall park a <br />vehicle for a period longer than or during hours <br />other than specified upon said signs. Provided, how- <br />ever, that the said .Board of Public Works and Safety <br />shall not limit parking to period different from <br />nor during hours different from such periods or <br />hours as may hereafter be determined upon by the <br />Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />K. Section 41, clause (a), paragraphs 4,6 and 7 <br />thereof of Article IV shall read as follows: <br />4. Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant. <br />6. Within 20 feet of a crosswalk at an inter- <br />section. <br />7. Within 30 feet upon the approach to any <br />flashing beacon, stop sign or traffic control signal <br />located at the side of a roadway. <br />L. Section 42, clause (a) of Article V shall read <br />as follows; <br />When stop signs are erected by authority of <br />the Board of Public Works and Safety upon highways <br />intersecting a street, then the street so inter- <br />sected shall be deemed a preferential street for <br />the purpose of this section. Provided, however, <br />that the said Board of Public Works and Safety <br />shall not so designate streets where such action is <br />hereafter prohibited by the Common Council of the <br />City of South Bend. <br />- 4 - <br />
