Other <br /> (2) continued... <br /> Upon motion by Ms. Schey, seconded by Mr. Downes, and unanimously carried, the <br /> Commission approved the TIF Realignment Analysis Professional Services proposal with <br /> Umbaugh & Associates in an amount not to exceed $17,500. <br /> Ms. Schey pointed out the Project Lead the Way contract was placed on the agenda under <br /> "Other" which she believes is confusing and/or misleading because she expects it will <br /> actually be funded under the Airport TIF. She noted that sometimes the agenda changes on <br /> the day of the meeting which may be an issue for those in the public who follow the <br /> agendas. Mr. Ford agreed. <br /> (3) Resolution Commending Cheryl K. Phipps for Extraordinary Service to the South <br /> 1 Bend Redevelopment Commission <br /> Ms. Jones read Resolution No. 3248 in its entirety <br /> 1 RESOLUTION NO. 3248 <br /> A RESOLUTION COMMENDING <br /> CHERYL K PHIPPS FOR EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE TO THE <br /> 1 SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br /> WHEREAS, Cheryl K. Phipps has been an employee of the City of South Bend since 1985, <br />,1 and in her twenty-nine years of public service Cheryl served as Recording Secretary for the <br /> Redevelopment Commission for most of her tenure; and <br /> WHEREAS, Cheryl was responsible for fairly, consistently and completely recording the <br /> minutes of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission month in and month out during her <br /> employment with the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Cheryl played the leading role in organizing the extremely busy schedules of <br /> the various people serving as Executive Director (Jon Hunt, Sharon Kendall, Jeff Gibney <br /> and Scott Ford) of the Department (under its various names throughout the years); and <br /> 3 WHEREAS, Cheryl served as a dependable and helpful resource for department and City <br /> staff through the many software transitions of the last three decades including dealing with <br /> Word Perfect, Lotus 1-2-3, Quattro Pro, Access, rbase, dbase, Groupwise, GIS, Office <br /> Accelerator, Suite One Agenda and oh so many more we have long forgotten; and <br /> 7 <br /> 11 <br />
