Other <br /> (3) continued... <br /> WHEREAS, Cheryl oversaw the coordination and filing of the various documents of the <br /> Redevelopment Commission with diligence,patience and care; and <br /> WHEREAS, Cheryl has spent a good many hours carefully and precisely cataloging decades <br /> 1 of photos of the department; and <br /> 1 WHEREAS, Cheryl mastered use of ArcView and GIS in order to keep exact records of our <br /> I TIF boundaries and provide maps in an unending variety of ways; and <br /> 1 <br /> a WHEREAS, Cheryl's demeanor has always been calm, steady, thoughtful and results driven <br /> in carrying out her duties and assisting staff in theirs; and <br /> 1 WHEREAS, Cheryl has never forgotten the public that she serves, giving unselfishly of her <br /> 1 time for the betterment of the community with no concern for individual honor or <br /> recognition; and <br /> I <br /> WHEREAS, Cheryl has decided the time is right to: pursue other endeavors including <br /> I spending more time with her husband, mother, children and grandchildren;pursuing new <br /> iand exciting hobbies; and leave her position with the Department of Community Investment; <br /> I <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br /> hereby recognizes Cheryl K Phipps for her extraordinary commitment and distinguished <br /> service to the South Bend Redevelopment Commission and the City of South Bend; thanks <br /> Iher for the outstanding contributions she has made; and declares it will sincerely miss her <br /> diligent work and quiet presence at future meetings. <br /> 43 ADOPTED at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held on <br /> September 25, 2014, at 1308 County-City Building, 227 W. Jefferson Boulevard, South <br /> 1 Bend, Indiana 46601. <br /> i <br /> Upon motion by Ms. Schey, seconded by Mr. Inks, and unanimously carried, the <br /> Commission approved Resolution No. 3248 Commending Cheryl K. Phipps for <br /> Extraordinary Service to the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. <br /> Mrs. Phipps thanked the Commission and stated she really enjoyed working with all of the <br /> Commissioners back to F.J. Nimtz and helping on the business of the Commission.
