REGULAR MEETING MAY 13, 2014 160 <br />motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Henthorn and carried, the street name change from <br />New Energy Drive to Renewable Road was approved. <br />APPROVAL OF DONATION AGREEMENT — 802 SOUTH KALEY STREET TO <br />KANKAKEE WETLANDS ORGANIC GARDENS INC (NOT- FOR - PROFIT) <br />Mr. Gilot stated favorable recommendations have been received from the Mayor, Division of <br />Engineering, Code Enforcement, Community Investment, Park Department, and the Legal <br />Department, in conjunction with a request from Kankakee Wetlands Organic Gardens, Inc. (Not - <br />for- Profit) to donate the City -owned property at 802 South Kaley Street to the organization. Ms. <br />Martin, Clerk of the Board, stated the Legal Department does not require the $1.00 charge for the <br />donation. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the Donation <br />Agreement was approved. <br />APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the following traffic <br />control device was denied due to an existing driveway: <br />NEW INSTALLATION: Handicapped Accessible Parking Space Sign <br />LOCATION: 1634 South Pulaski Street <br />REMARKS: Recommend Denial due to Existing Driveway <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the following traffic <br />control device was tabled for further review of an alternate parking site: <br />LOCATION: 1004 Johnson Street <br />REMARKS: Recommend Denial — No Parking Posted on East Side of <br />Johnson Street <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr, Relos and carried, the following traffic <br />control devices were approved: <br />LOCATIONS: 606 South Warren Street <br />510 West Navarre Street <br />745 South Gladstone Avenue <br />1826 East Bowman Street <br />1002 South 32 Street <br />REMARKS: All criteria has been met. <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the following traffic <br />control device was approved subject to conversations with INDOT regarding the paving of the <br />alley and advance notification to the neighbors of impending loss of parking: <br />NEW INSTALLATION: No Parking <br />LOCATION: Both Sides of Eddy Street from Madison St.to Campeau St. <br />REMARKS: Follow -Up Discussion Recommending Alleys be upgraded <br />to All- Weather Surface prior to Removal of Parking on <br />Eddy St. <br />APPROVE WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT(S) <br />In a Memorandum to the Board, Ms. Kim Thompson, Division of Environmental Services, <br />submitted the following Wastewater Discharge Permit(s) and recommended approval: <br />Somaschini North American, LLC, 4601 Nimtz Parkway <br />UN Tek — I/N Kote, 30755 Edison Road, New Carlisle, Indiana 46552 <br />SES Environmental , 301 North Lafayette Boulevard <br />There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Relos and <br />carried, the permits were approved. <br />FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE <br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the Certificate of <br />Insurance for the following business was accepted for filing: <br />
