REGULAR MEETING MAY 13, 2014 160 motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Henthorn and carried, the street name change from New Energy Drive to Renewable Road was approved. APPROVAL OF DONATION AGREEMENT — 802 SOUTH KALEY STREET TO KANKAKEE WETLANDS ORGANIC GARDENS INC (NOT- FOR - PROFIT) Mr. Gilot stated favorable recommendations have been received from the Mayor, Division of Engineering, Code Enforcement, Community Investment, Park Department, and the Legal Department, in conjunction with a request from Kankakee Wetlands Organic Gardens, Inc. (Not - for- Profit) to donate the City -owned property at 802 South Kaley Street to the organization. Ms. Martin, Clerk of the Board, stated the Legal Department does not require the $1.00 charge for the donation. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the Donation Agreement was approved. APPROVE TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the following traffic control device was denied due to an existing driveway: NEW INSTALLATION: Handicapped Accessible Parking Space Sign LOCATION: 1634 South Pulaski Street REMARKS: Recommend Denial due to Existing Driveway Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the following traffic control device was tabled for further review of an alternate parking site: LOCATION: 1004 Johnson Street REMARKS: Recommend Denial — No Parking Posted on East Side of Johnson Street Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr, Relos and carried, the following traffic control devices were approved: LOCATIONS: 606 South Warren Street 510 West Navarre Street 745 South Gladstone Avenue 1826 East Bowman Street 1002 South 32 Street REMARKS: All criteria has been met. Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the following traffic control device was approved subject to conversations with INDOT regarding the paving of the alley and advance notification to the neighbors of impending loss of parking: NEW INSTALLATION: No Parking LOCATION: Both Sides of Eddy Street from Madison St.to Campeau St. REMARKS: Follow -Up Discussion Recommending Alleys be upgraded to All- Weather Surface prior to Removal of Parking on Eddy St. APPROVE WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMIT(S) In a Memorandum to the Board, Ms. Kim Thompson, Division of Environmental Services, submitted the following Wastewater Discharge Permit(s) and recommended approval: Somaschini North American, LLC, 4601 Nimtz Parkway UN Tek — I/N Kote, 30755 Edison Road, New Carlisle, Indiana 46552 SES Environmental , 301 North Lafayette Boulevard There being no further discussion, upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the permits were approved. FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE Upon a motion made by Ms. Roos, seconded by Mr. Relos and carried, the Certificate of Insurance for the following business was accepted for filing:
