SECTION 4. The Common Council recommends that the <br />sworn members' of the Police Department clothing allowance be <br />$300.00 per year. <br />SECTION 5. Upon the effective date of this ordinance, <br />the educational incentive will no longer be in effect. <br />SECTION 6. The Common Council recommends that the <br />advancement of rank from Patrolman First Class to Corporal be after <br />three (3) complete years upon satisfactory performance of duty and <br />promotion by the Board of Safety. <br />SECTION 7. This ordinance shall be in full force and <br />effect for the calendar year commencing January 1, 1977, and ending <br />December 31, 1977. <br />Passed, as amended, July 19, 1976 <br />
