(Qmnmi#tcr �rpurt <br />can the (dnmman (Qoom -d of the (defy of #VMt 4 ]kna: <br />Your Committee of the Whole <br />to whom was referred <br />AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE ANNUAL PAY OF POLICEMEN <br />FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1977. <br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion <br />This Ordinance be recommended to Council favorably, <br />as amended: <br />Section I Adding service years to patrolman first class, patrolman, <br />and officer in training. <br />Section I Change service years for a corporal from 1 -5 to 3 -5. <br />Section I Add the following paragraph: An officer in training shall <br />remain in that status until satisfactory completion of the <br />mandatory law enforcement training program. <br />Section VI Add the word complete after (3) and change the sentence to <br />read: The Common Council recommends that the advancement <br />of rank from Patrolman First Class to Corporal be after <br />three (3) complete years upon satisfactory performance <br />of duty and promotion by the Board of Safety. <br />Frank Horvath <br />Chairman <br />I... ..... r ......MIN.... <br />
