<br />Your Committee of the Whole, to whom was referred AN ORDINANCE TO CHANGE THE NAME OF ROBINHOOD COURT, FROM MICHIGAN
<br />STREET (U. S. HIGHWAY NO. 31), EAST TO BARBIE STREET, TO BARBIE STREET, Respectfully report that they have examined
<br />the matter and that in their opinion it should be reported favorable.

<br />District lots 1, 2,' and 3 of Logan Heights Proposed Addition; was legally advertised under date of 28 January 1957
<br />andt)�iven public hearing under `date of 8 February 1957. The following action was taken:
<br />The Commission found that the other three corners of the intersection of Jefferson and Logan Streets
<br />are being used commercially and are so zoned. Subject - property is entirely unsuitable for residential
<br />use.
<br />It was therefore, moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended favorably
<br />to the Common Council.

<br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702, APPROVED JUNE 14, 1949, OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, AND
<br />PUBLISHED JUNE 21, 1949, SO FAR AS THE SAME RELATES TO LOTS NUMBERED ONE (1), TWO (2) AND THREE (3) IN
<br />THE PROPOSED ADDITION OF LOGAN HEIGHTS.
<br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Muszynski made a motion for
<br />suspension of rules. Councilman Carr seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 8 ayes, 0 nays,
<br />1 absent (Councilman Christman). The Ordinance was then given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes,
<br />0 nays, 1 absent, Councilman Christman.

<br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING AND APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL FUND THE SUM OF $1,900.00, TO OFFICE OF THE
<br />BOARD, ACCOUNT H -726, OTHER EQUIPMENT (PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM) AND FROM ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT V -38,
<br />GENERAL SUPPLIES, THE SUM OF $172.50 TO ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT V -725, OFFICE EQUIPMENT (TYPEWRITER)
<br />ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR 1957. AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY
<br />EMERGENCY.
<br />The Ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full.
<br />Councilman Carr made a motion that the Ordinance be set for public hearing on February 25, 1957. Councilman Kroll
<br />seconded the motion. Motion carried.
