= = = = = _ = = = = = = = = = = = _ = - = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 11, 1957 Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in Regular Session in the Council Chambers, Monday, February 11, 1957, at 8:45 P.M., with all members present except Councilman Christman. President Stanley C. Korpal called the meeting to order and presided. i ROLL CALL PRESENT: Councilmen Korpal, Carr, Tellson, Kroll, Glass, Hahn, Erler and Muszynski. ABSENT: Councilman Christman. REPORT OF THE.COMMITTEE ON MINUTES: To the Common, Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. They therefore recommend that the same be approved. G. W. Carr ) Committee Stanley C. Korpal ) South Bend, Ind., February 11, 1957 ) Minutes of Meeting of January 28th, 1957. Councilman Muszynski made a.motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Hahn seconded the motion. Motion carried. PETITIDN Petition of Marshall Heights Realty Company to Annex a plat of land adjacent to Twyckenham Hills and North of Ireland Road Councilman Erler made a motion that the Petition be referred to the City Planning Commission. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried. .REPORT ON FILM Councilman Kroll reported that the traffic film being prepared by the Truckers" Association was not available as yet. Councilman Glass made a.motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Carr seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF ORDINANCE COMMITTEE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1, 2, 3, 5, b; 7, 9, 10 and 17, OF ORDINANCE NO. 3973 ADOPTED ON THE 12th DAY OF APRIL, 1954. Chairman of the Ordinance Committee, George W. Carr, reported that the above Ordinance is still in Committee. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE: To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole, to whom.was referred AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO OFFICE OF CITY JUDGE, ACCOUNT E -13 SPECIAL (PAUPER) ATTORNEY FUND THE SUM OF $1200.00 ALL OF THE BUDGET FOR THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR 1957, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY, Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion it should be reported favorable. G. W. CARR, Chairman Councilman Hahn made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried.
