RE GUTA R MEETING ORDINANCE N0. 3982 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. (Southwest corner of Ardmore Trail and Goodland Avenue) MAY 24TH, 1954 The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Korpal made a motion for suspension of rules. Councilman Niezgodski seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent (Councilman Alford). The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent ( Councilman Alford). ORDINANCE NO. 3983 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE. (Southwest corner Brookfield St. and Lincoln Way West) The ordinance' was given third reading end passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent (Councilman Alford). REPORT OF•CITY PLAN COMMISSION Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gent le men Presented herewith is petition of Edward and Lydia Deavel. This petition was advertised under date of April 26, 1954, and given public hearing under date of May 6,.1954. The petition is recommended favorably. Very truly yours, Robert L. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMEENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 37029 (2311 Miami Street) The ordinance was given first reading`by title and second reading in full. Councilman Hahn made a motion that the ordinance be referred to the Committee of the Whole for public hearing on June 14th. Councilman Bestle seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMMISSION Common Council South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: Presented herewith is an ordinance pursuant to Common Council directive, which allows principal offices of physicians and dentists in "B" Residence Districts. In addition, hotels and public garanges are excluded from B Residence District by terms of this proposal, each being essentially a commercial use. Very truly yours, CITY PLANNING COMMISSION Robert L. Motion carried. 0RRDINANCE AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. Councilman Hahn made a motion that the ordinance be referred to a committee, namely, Councilmen Hahn, Bestle, Korpal, Glass and Muszynski to report back to the Council on June 14th. Councilman Bestle seconded the - motion. Motion carried.
