REGULAR MEETING MAY 24TH, 1954 <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING CERTAIN MONIES FROM THE <br />GENERAL FUND TO THE GENERAL IMPROV DAENT FUND OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />ems. <br />The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Niezgodski made a motion <br />that the ordinance be referred to the Committee of the Whole for public hearing on June 14th, Councilman Hahn <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, there is an increasing need for regulation legislation concerning OFF- THE - STREET - PARKING, and, <br />WHEREAS, the solution of this problem is closely allied with zoning requirements, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE_,JT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of South Bend be requested to <br />make the necessary study and present their recommendations to the Common Council of the City of South Bend <br />at their earliest convenience concerning legislation on Off- The - Street- Parking requirements. <br />WALTER C. ERLER SR. <br />Member of the Common Council- <br />Councilman Niezgodski made a motion for the adoption of the Resolution. Councilman Glass seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />There being no further business before the Council, Councilman Hahn made a motion to adjourn, which motion <br />was seconded by Councilmen Muszynski.
