REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "An Ordinance reducing certain items in the 1951 Municipal Civil City Budget of the City of South Bend, Indiana; and appropriating from the General Fund of said City the sum of One Thousand Seven Hundred ($1,700.00) Dollars to certain other budgetary items of the 1951 budget of said city, and declaring an extraordinary emergency ". Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. STANLEY C. KORPAL, Chairman Councilman Kemper made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF CITY PLAN COMdISSION To the Common Council City of South Bend, Ind. Gentlemen: Petition of Bob Rans Wholesale Co. and Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co. for change of zoning of property on west side of S. Franklin Ste between Calvert Ste and Dubail Ave. from E height and area district to F height and area district was given public hearing before the City Plan Commission on July 5, 19519 This change is recommended as petitioned for. Yours truly, D. Moomaw, Seoy. Councilman Muszynski made a motion that the report be accepted. Councilman Pestle seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE NO. 3826 AN ORDINANCE REDUCING CERTAIN ITEMS IN THE 1951 MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY BUDGET OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA; AND APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL'FUND OF SAID CITY THE SUM OF ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED ($1,700.00) DOLLARS TO CERTAIN OTHER BUDGETARY ITEMS OF THE 1951 BUDGET OF SAID CITY, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. The ordinance was given third reading and passed.by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays. ORDINANCE NO. 3827 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 3702 Property on est side of FraMin St. between Calvert St. and Dubail Ave.) The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Glass made a motion for suspension of rules. Councilman Korpal seconded the motion. Motion carried by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays. The ordinance was given third reading and patsed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 0 nays. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE ANNUAL SALARY OF THE SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, CITY COURT PROBATION OFFICER; AND APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF SAID CITY THE SUM OF THREE HUNDRED NINETY -EIGHT DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS ($398.50) TO THE 1951 BUDGETARY ITEM, SERVICES PERSONAL, IN THE OFFICE OF CITY JUDGE; REPEALING ANY AND ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES, AND DECLARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Korpal made a motion that the ordinance be referred to the Committee of the Whole for public hearing on July 23rd. Councilman Bestle seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE REDUCING A CERTAIN ITEM IN THE 1951 SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, MUNICIPAL CIVIL CITY BUDGET, AND APPROPRIATING FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF SAID CITY THE SUM OF FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY - FIVE ($525.00) DOLLARS, TO A CERTAIN OTHER BUDGETARY ITEM OF THE 1951 BUDGET OF SAID CITY, .AND DELCARING AN EXTRAORDINARY EMERGENCY. The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full.
