REGULAR MEETING <br />JULY 9TH, 1951 <br />Be it remembered -that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in regular session in the <br />Council Chamber, Monday, July 9th, 1951, at 8 :20 P.M., with all members present. President Niezgodski presided. <br />REPORT- OF COMMITTEE ON MZNiUTES <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: <br />Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected <br />the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. They therefore recommend that the same <br />be approved. <br />CLEM NIEZGODSKI ) <br />A. KEMPER ) Committee <br />STANLEY C. Motion �� <br />carried. <br />COMMUNICATION <br />Communication from Mr. William J. Muth, Vice - President of National Conference of Councilmen and Aldermen, to <br />members, of Council to attend annual convention in Cleveland, Ohio; on July 18, 19, 20 and 21, 1951. <br />Councilman Korpal made a motion that the communication be accepted. Councilman Kemper seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />PETITION <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />The undersigned citizens respectfully request the installation of a street light at the corner of Oak Ridge Drive <br />and Scottswood Drive, in this city. <br />5 Signers <br />Councilman Tellson made a motion to refer the petition to the Board of Public Works. Councilman Korpal seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried. <br />PETITION <br />Members of the Common Council <br />City of South Bend <br />Gentlemen: �. <br />The Board of Public Works and Safety is in receipt of the attached petition to change the name of Crumstown Avenue <br />to Ardmore Trail.
