<br />To The Corrmcn Council of the City of South Bend: December 9th, 1946.
<br />Your Committee of the Whole, to whom was referred "An Ordinance providing for the regulation of the use and
<br />operation of steam boilers, steam or internal combustion er2gxnes,- turbines, compressors, and other related,
<br />unfired, or fired pressure vessels or equipment; providing for the licensing, classification and regulation of
<br />the operators thereof; providing for the creation of a Board of- Examiners with the power and duty to examine
<br />applicants for licenses and defining the qualifications, powers, duties and terms of office of the members of
<br />said examining board; providing for the exaranation of applicants for license to operate equipment mentioned
<br />above and fixing fees for such examinationand such licenses; providing for the suspension, revocation and
<br />reinstatement of licenses; providing for the regulation of the operation of such equipment; and providing
<br />penalties for the violation hereof. "
<br />Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion the report of the Ordinance
<br />Committee be accepted.

<br />construction undertaken pursuant to the Veterans' Emergency Housing Act of 1946 and other laws, and regulations
<br />and orders, relating to the Veterans' Emergency Housing program; declaring an emergency."

<br />Committee.

<br />OR EQUIPMENT: PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSING, CLASSIFICATION AND REGULATION
