450 <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING 1HE USE BY VMiICLES OF PROPMTY <br />OWNED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA; PROVIDING RULES <br />AND REGULATIONS COVERING SUCH USE; PROVIDING PENALTIES. <br />The Ordinance was given first and second reading. Councilman Niezgodski made a motion that the Ordinance <br />be set for Public Hearing on January 13th, 1947, at 7 :30 P.M. Councilman Brannan seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CERTAIN PAYMIENTS TO BE AIDE 70 CITY EMPLOYEES <br />WHEREAS, The City of South Bend, is approaching the close of its �iscal year; And <br />VMREAS, the office.of the City Controller will be required to make numerous payments and close its numerous <br />and complicated accounts; And, <br />WHEREAS, it is desirable that the work of said office be simplified when possible, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />SECTION 1. That all employees of the City shall be paid their salaries in full for the month of December on <br />the 15th day of said month. <br />SECTION 11. The Controller of the City of :youth Bend, is hereby authorized to make said salary payments upon <br />said date. <br />SECTION-111. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />Dated this 9th day of December, 1946. <br />WM J.
