OR i 0 1: To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: November 9, Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO THE SERVICES - CONTRACTUAL ACCOUNTS OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,500.00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM THE SERVICES - PERSONAL ACCOUNT OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ". Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Glass made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent (Councilman Wise). ORDINANCE NO. 4703 - -64 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE SOUTH BEND CITY WATER WORKS AND THE MEMPHIS EQUIPMENT CO., FOR THE PURCHASE OF REO "M" SERIES 2'k TON 6X6 RECONDITIONED TRUCK IN THE SUM OF $4,395.00. The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent (Councilman Wise). ORDINANCE NO. 4704 - -64 AN ORDINANCE FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FROM STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,000.00 TO MOTOR EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT S -722. The ordinance was given third reading and passed by a roll call vote of 8 ayes - 1 absent (Councilman Wise). ORDINANCE, FIRST & SECOND READING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING AN ADDITIONAL $1,200.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO:THE BUILDING DEMOLITION, REPAIR AND CONTINGENCY FUND. The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in ftill. Councilman Glass made a motion that the ordinance be set for public hearing on November 23, 1964. Councilman Szymkowiak seconded the motion. Motion carried. ORDINANCE, FIRST & SECOND READING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,044.09 FROM THE STREET AND TRAFFIC FUND TO ACCOUNT S -252 DESIGNATED AS REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT. The ordinance was given first reading by title and second reading in full. Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the ordinance be set for public hearing on November 23, 1964. Councilman Palmer seconded the motion. Motion carried.
