MEW _�3E�ULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 9, 1964 REPORT OF COMMITTEE ON MINUTES To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your Committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspec the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. REPORT OF ORDINANCE COMMITTEE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: November 9, 1964 Your Committee on Ordinances to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE SANITATION OF VENDING FOOD AND BEVERAGES, TO LICENSES AND PERMITS APPLICABLE THERETO,, ESTABLISHING MINIMUM SANITATION STANDARDS, AND DEFINING TERMS AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH ". Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opin/THE ORDINANCE NEEDED TO BE REDRAFTED, AND SUCH WAS DONE. THE ORDINANCE IS BEING OFFERED FOR FIRST AND SECOND READING-AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE COMMON COUNCIL THIS 9TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1964. /s/ Janet S. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: November 9, 1964 Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE SOUTH BEND CITY WATER WORKS AND THE STANCO MIDWEST SALES CO. FOR THE PURCHASE OF HIAB SPEED LOADER MODEL 177 WITH 18 FEET BOOM LENGTH IN THE SUM OF $4,210.00." Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Allen made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file. REPORT OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: November 9, 1964 Your Committee of the Whole to whom was referred "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE SOUTH BEND CITY WATER WORKS AND THE MEMPHIS EQUIPMENT CO. FOR THE PURCHASE OF REO "M" SERIES 2k TON 6 %6 RECONDITIONED TRUCK IN THE SUM OF $4,395.00 ". Respectfully report that they have examined the matter and that in their opinion this ordinance go to the Council as favorable. /s/ Edwin Thomas Smith, Chairman Councilman Szymkowiak made a motion that the report be accepted and placed on file.
