uanrtt A D MEETING FEBRUARY 24: 1964 REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION The Honorable Common Council February 19, 1964 City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: It has come to my attention that there is an error in the legal description of Ordinance No. 4459 -62 passed by the Common Council on May 14, 1962, Attached is an ordinance correcting this error. Councilman Muszynski seconded the motion. Motion carried. REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: February 18, 1964 The attached petition of the City Planning Commission to rezone from "B" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District to "A" Residential Use and "A" Height and Area District the property generally described as being bounded on the east by the first north -south alley west of Kendall Street, on the wdst by Kemble Avenue, on the north by Indiana Avenue and on the south by Calvert Street was legally advertised under date of January 27, 1964 and given public hearing on February 6, 1964. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission determined that 98% of the area is now in single family use. It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended favorably to the Council. Very truly yours, CITY PLANNING COMMISSION Robert L. REPORT OF CITY PLANNING COMMISSION The Honorable Common Council City of South Bend South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: February 18, 1964 The attached petition of the Belleville Investment Company, Inc. to zone "C" Commercial Use and "E" Height and area a tract of land being generally described as the north side of Western Avenue from Lombardy Drive to Mayflower Road was legally advertised under date of January 27, 1964 and given public hearing on February 6, 1964. The following action was taken: After due consideration the Commission found that the requested zoning was in the best interest of the area. It was therefore duly moved, seconded, and unanimously carried that the petition be recommended favorably to the Council. Very truly yours, CITY PLANNING COMMISSION Robert L.
