<br />The attached petition of Dorothy Garland and Andrew Place to annex to the City of South Bend a parcel of land at the
<br />southwest intersection of Ireland and Miami Roads, described as 556 feet, more or less, south of said intersection,
<br />thence 1,195 feet, more or less, west, thence 556 feet, more or less, north thence 1,195 feet, more or less, east to
<br />the point of beginning, containing approximately 14.8 acres was legally advertised on 17 July 1958 and given public
<br />hearing under date of 28 July 1958. The following action was taken:
