<br />Attached herewith are copies of the proposed Minimum Housing Ordinance, revised in accordance with your suggestions,
<br />as agreed upon at a recent special meeting with you, Mr. Sucher and myself.
<br />I hope you will find the revised Ordinance in accordance with your suggestionp, but wish to assure you that if you
<br />should desire further information or should wish to hold further meetings with Mr. Sucher and myself, we would be
<br />more than happy to cooperate in every way.
<br />However, if the Ordinance in its present form is satisfactory to you, we desire and respectfully request that it be
<br />introduced for consideration at the earliest possible date.

<br />OF ALL BUDGET - OPERATED DEPARTMENTS OF THE CIVIL CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA,
<br />FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 19593 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1959,
<br />INCLUDING DEPARTMENTS, FUNDS AND COMMISSIONS FOR WHICH MONEY IS APPROPRIATED,
<br />IN WHOLE OR IN PART, FROM FUNDS OTHER THAN THE GENERAL FUNDS, OF SAID CITY,
<br />TO -WIT: STREET, TRAFFIC, AND PARK DEPARTMENTS, FIREMEN'S PENSION AND POLICE -
<br />MEN S PENSION FUNDS, AND THE CITY PLAN AND URBAN REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSIONS:

<br />a unanimous vote of the Council, as taken by a roll call of 9 ayes, 0 nays.
<br />The Clerk then read the headings of each Department and the grand total of each department, for second reading.
<br />Councilman Carr made a motion that the Ordinance be advertised on August 1st and August 8th, for Public Hearing on
<br />August 25th, 1958. Councilman Kroll seconded the motion. Motion carried.
