REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 10, 1969 REPORT OF COMMITTEE ON MINUTES To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: Your committee on the inspection and supervision of the minutes, would respectfully report that they have inspected the minutes of the previous meeting of the Council and found them correct. CITIZENS REQUESTS - MISCELLANEOUS Mrs. Virginia Guthrie commended the Common Council for meeting with the local PTA's in a special session last week to discuss community problems. Councilman Laven said the Council met with interested members of the PTA and'will meet again Tuesday evening, February 25th in the Council Chambers. PETITIONS AMENDED LEGAL DESCRIPTION TO PETITION TO ANNEX LAND (State Road #23,South Bend Ave.) ( Vaness Street) FILED BY JAMES P. LOCKER AND LYLE D. BURNSIDE. A part of the South East one- quarter (3) of Section 31, Township 38 North, Range 3 East of the Second P.M., St. Joseph County, Indiana more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the North line of the South one -half (h) of the South- east one - quarter M of Section 31, 450.80 feet East of the Northwest corner thereof; thence North 00°01138" East a distance of 30 feet to the North line of Vaness Street; thence North 89054140" East along the North line of Vaness Street and said North line extended East to its intersection with the South- easterly right -of -way line of South Bend Avenue (Indiana State Road No. 23), said Right -of -Way line being also the Northwesterly line of Lot 8 in Wolf's South Bend Avenue addition (proposed); thence Southwesterly along said right - of -way lineto the said North line of the South -half (h) of the Southeast one- quarter (4) of Section 31; thence.
