<br />111-ierefore, Mr. Inks made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bid be awarded

<br />be awarded as outlined above, subject to the approval of the City's Addendum for each contract.

<br />lVin Jeff Hudak, Central Services, advised the Board that on April 14, 2008, bids were received
<br />and opened for the above referred to vehicles. Since the opening of the bids, the prices have
<br />increased. Therefore, Mr. Hudak recommends rejecting all bids due to lack of funds. Mr.
<br />T,ittrell made a motion that the recommendation be accepted and the bids be rejected. Mr. Inks
<br />seconded the motion, which carried.
<br />APPROVE PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT — BLACKTHORN LIFT STATION
<br />Mr, Inks advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Engineering, has submitted. the Project Completion
<br />Affidavit on behalf of Selge Construction Co., Inc.,, 2833 South 10' Street, Niles, Michigan,
<br />49120, for the above referenced project, indicating a final cost of $268,000.00. Upon a motion
<br />made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Project Completion Affidavit was
<br />approved.
<br />APPROVE PROJECT COMPLETION AFFIDAVIT — DEMOLITION OF FORMER
<br />!\Ar, finks advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Engineering, has submitted the Project Completion
<br />Affidavit on behalf of C&E Excavating, Inc., 53767 County Road 9, Elkhart, Indiana, 46514, for
<br />the above referenced project, indicating a final cost of $29,580.00. Upon a motion made by Mr.
<br />1.1"ttrelt, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the Project Completion Affidavit was approved.
