MBE AND WBE PARTICIPATION <br />At Larson -Danielson, we are committed to strengthening diversity within <br />the construction industry. We actively support minority-, women-, and <br />veteran -owned businesses and value the contributions they bring to every <br />project. For the Kennedy Park project, we will leverage our strong network <br />of XBE partners, built through active partnerships with diversity <br />organizations, and the certified supplier and contractor database from the <br />Indiana Department of Administration to meet and exceed participation <br />goals. <br />■ Our Good Faith Efforts <br />Proactive Outreach: We will launch the project with events <br />and press releases designed to engage XBE contractors, <br />share project details, and create networking opportunities <br />supported by clear documentation. Contractor interest will be <br />evaluated, and communication maintained to build lasting <br />Certified <br />Women's Business Enterprise <br />partnerships. Per our preliminary schedule, preparation will <br />begin in September 2025, with outreach events scheduled <br />between December 2025 and February 2026. <br />2. Direct Engagement: We'll personally reach out to potential <br />XBE contractors by phone and other channels to share project <br />details and opportunities. If they're interested, we'll set up <br />follow-up meetings to discuss next steps. VETERAN <br />These efforts have proven successful in encouraging and garnering OWNED BUSINESS <br />diverse participation for our projects and have helped us to surpass Owner goals for XBE <br />participation. <br />■ Support for Industry Diversity <br />Indiana Plan Partnership: We support the Indiana Plan to expand opportunities for <br />women and minorities in construction. <br />2. Northern Indiana Minority Business Association (NIMBA) Membership: As active <br />members, we are dedicated to helping diverse businesses thrive by providing them <br />with opportunities and resources. <br />3. Mentor -Protege Program: Working with the City of South Bend's Mentor -Protege <br />program has allowed us to mentor, support, and grow alongside minority- and <br />women -owned businesses, strengthening the industry as a whole. <br />■ Our Commitment <br />We are committed to building diverse, thriving communities by partnering with MBE, WBE, <br />and VBE firms in meaningful ways.
