PROJECT APPROACH APPROACH TO CITY/OWNER PROJECT SPECIFIC GOALS At Larson -Danielson, we are committed to meeting the City's goals with transparency, expertise, and accountability. Backed by a century of experience, strong leadership, and family - owned values, we focus on quality, value, and lasting community impact. ■ E-Verify Affidavit: We affirm that Larson -Danielson Construction utilizes and will continue to utilize the Federal E-Verify program for all employees and will require all subcontractors on this project to do so as well. ■ Fair Bidding Process: CITY OF SOUTH BEND VENUES PARKS &ARTS We are going to take the best approach for the City and are committed to obtaining competitive bids. On the Four Winds project we discovered the market challenges in South Bend and bid packaging strategies that work and don't work to engage local trade contractors. We have successfully contracted with local contractors including Ziolkowski, Gibson -Lewis and others, and we look to maintain their participation because it's best for the City. ■ Sustainability: At Larson -Danielson, sustainability means more than building green, it's about creating facilities that last. For Kennedy Park, our focus will be on working with the Architect to recommend durable materials and efficient systems that reduce maintenance needs, minimize energy consumption, and extend the life of the facility. By engaging early in the design phase, we will work closely with the South Bend Venues Parks & Arts team to set clear sustainability goals and evaluate long-term solutions. Our approach balances upfront costs with lifecycle savings, by utiliing a detailed cost -benefit analysis of each sustainbility related element of the project. During construction, we will monitor quality and performance to confirm that sustainable objectives are met.
