j. Reproduction and distribution needs for associated documents such as: <br />1) Reference documents <br />2) Addenda <br />2. Invitations to Bid. Assist and advise Owner in placing the Invitation to Bid. Owner will <br />distribute copies of the Bid Documents to prospective Bidders. <br />Task 502 — Pre -Bid Meeting <br />1. Conduct, at a date and time selected and a place provided by Owner, a pre -bid conference <br />to: <br />a. Confirm the types of information required by the contract documents and the format in <br />which bids should be presented. <br />b. Review special project requirements and contract documents in general. <br />c. Receive requests for interpretations that will be issued to plan holders. <br />d. Prepare minutes of conference and issue to plan holders. <br />2. For the purposes of this scope and fee estimate, it is assumed one person will attend the <br />pre -bid meeting. <br />Task 503 — Interpretation of Bidding Documents (Assume up to 3 Addenda) <br />1. Assist Owner in addressing any questions from potential bidders regarding the contract <br />documents. <br />2. Prepare and issue addenda to the construction contract documents when required. For the <br />purposes of this scope and fee estimate, it is assumed there will be no more than 3 addenda. <br />3. Consult with and advise Owner to determine the acceptability of substitute materials and <br />equipment proposed by Bidders when substitution prior to the award of contracts is allowed <br />by the Contract Documents. <br />Task 504 — Bid Opening <br />For the purposes of this scope and fee estimate, it is assumed one person will attend the bid <br />opening in person. <br />1. Assist Owner during bid opening.
