b. Electrical Room <br />c. Proposed Chemical Room Area <br />Task 203 — Strucural Assessment <br />1. Engineer will subcontract with an inspection firm to perform exploratory destructive testing <br />of the HSPS floor slab, soil capacity tests and inspections through a subcontractor. <br />2. For budgeting purposes, 30 hours has been included for the Structural engineer to plan <br />testing, coordinate with the testing laboratory, and interpret results. <br />3. Structural observation and on -site testing to include: <br />a. Preparation of description of testing procedure to contract with third party testing <br />agency. <br />b. Exploratory destructive testing (cutting of approximately 3'x3' opening in pump slab, <br />extraction of concrete core sample, and survey of size and spacing of existing rebar). <br />c. Soil capacity tests including (1) within existing building and (1) outside of building to <br />determine subgrade type and develop geotechnical recommendations for support of <br />new structure. <br />d. On -site attendance by BV Structural engineer to witness testing and observe condition <br />of existing building (approximately 2 days). <br />e. Technical memo summarizing findings. <br />4. An allowance of $45,000.00 is included for the subcontractor testing firm. <br />TASK 300 PRELIMINARY DESIGN <br />Task 301 — Basis of Design Report <br />1. A basis of design report (BDR) will be prepared documenting the following: <br />a. Process Design Criteria <br />b. Summary of selected alternative from the PER <br />c. Discipline Design Criteria <br />d. Project Implementation Plan <br />e.
