Prepare cost estimate after each phase of design subject to the best unit pricing at the time of <br />submission with no guarantee in market fluctuations. <br /> <br />Project Description (Survey) <br /> <br />1. Surveyor will prepare a Utility/Topographic/Boundary/RW Determination for the site including the <br />following: <br />a. Establish horizontal control (Indiana State Plane East) <br />b. Establish vertical control (1988 Datum) <br />i. Set a minimum of 3 temporary benchmarks on site to be used during <br />construction <br />c. Select topographic survey (50-foot grid) and 15-foot overlap topographic survey (1,800’) <br />i. Show spot elevations to the nearest 0.01 foot <br />ii. Provide the location, size and elevation of all improvements within the survey <br />limits <br />iii. Plot the location of storm drainage structures, sanitary structures, roads, <br />driveways, edges of curbs, parking areas, walks, water’s edge of ponds (if <br />available), drainage ways, fencing, etc. <br />iv. Provide the location and size of individual trees inside and outside of wooded <br />areas larger than 12” DBH within the survey limits and along boundary lines <br />d. Provide location, size, depth, material and direction of flow for sanitary and storm sewers <br />serving or on the site plus one structure upstream and downstream of the survey limits <br />e. Locate aboveground evidence of utilities on site, plus marks made on the ground by local <br />utility companies (One Call). One Call will only locate utilities within the public right -of-way <br />or within recorded easements. <br />f. CAD Drafting and creation of a TIN and contours (1-foot contour interval) <br />g. Land Surveyor review and deed/parcel plot based on research obtained from St. Joseph <br />County Records along with easements and setbacks per the recorded plat <br />i. Property lines of adjoining parcels and right-of-way lines adjoining roads will be <br />plotted on the Survey <br /> <br /> <br />Fee for Basic Services <br />1. Based on the stipulations in this letter, the lump sum fee (LSF) for Basic Services will be: <br />a. Civil Fee: $15,000.00 <br />Total Design Fee: $15,000.00, (fifteen thousand dollars.) <br />b. Survey Fee: $11,500.00 <br /> <br />2. Progress payments for Basic Services in each phase shall total the following percentages of the lump <br />sum fee: <br />a. Preliminary Analysis 30% <br />b. Initial Findings Report 30% <br />c. Final Report with Estimate 40% <br /> <br />3. Reimbursable expenses will be billed to the Client as stated in Reimbursable Expenses listed below. <br />Reimbursable expenses are not part of the Basic Service fee.
