DLZ will consider and evaluate the Demolition Contractor’s request for information (RFI), <br />request for change orders, and suggestions for modifications to drawings and/or specifications <br />and report to the CLIENT with recommendations. At the request of the CLIENT, DLZ will <br />prepare and distribute demolition phase correspondence, clarifications, and change orders. <br /> <br />5. DLZ will perform a final site inspection at the completion of the Project and prepare a punch- <br />list of outstanding items to be completed by the Demolition Contractor. DLZ will distribute the <br />punch-list to the Demolition Contractor and CLIENT and issue additional comments as <br />required. <br /> <br />TASK 10 – ON-SITE OBSERVATION FOR SOIL MANAGEMENT PLAN (AS-NEEDED) <br /> <br />A. The On-Site Observation for Soil Management services are based on the following assumptions: <br /> <br />1. DLZ will provide an on-site representative during demolition operations to oversee the soils <br />excavation in accordance with the approved Soil Management Plan. DLZ has included up to <br />475 hours for this task. <br /> <br />2. DLZ will collect verification samples from the excavated areas in accordance with the approved <br />Soil Management Plan. <br /> <br />3. Verification samples will be submitted to a laboratory for analysis. Upon receipt of the <br />laboratory results, DLZ will communicate the results to the CLIENT. <br /> <br />4. Upon completion of the excavation activities, DLZ will prepare a final summary report <br />documenting the excavation activities. <br />RESPONSIBILITY OF CLIENT <br /> <br />CLIENT shall do the following in a timely manner so as not to delay the services of DLZ: <br /> <br />A. Designate in writing a person to act as CLIENT’s representative with respect to the Scope of <br />Services to be rendered under this Proposal. Such person shall have complete authority to <br />transmit instructions, receive information, interpret, and define CLIENT’s policies and decisions <br />with respect to DLZ’s services for the Project, subject to the approval of the CLIENT. <br />
