DLZ will provide the CLIENT with a written recommendation as to which is the lowest <br />responsible and responsive bidder for the scope of work identified. <br /> <br />TASK 9 – LIMITED DEMOLITION PHASE ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES <br /> <br />A. The Limited Demolition Phase Services are based on the following assumptions: <br /> <br />The CLIENT / Demolition Contractor agreement shall require the following: <br /> <br />1. One (1) demolition/clearing contract is included in this Project. A Project schedule with a <br />maximum duration of three (3) consecutive months, with an additional maximum one (1) <br />month period for project closeout for on-site demolition activities. <br /> <br />2. The project will be completed on a lump sum basis and may include specific unit prices and <br />allowance items established for environmental remediation. <br /> <br />3. The demolition contractor will be required to procure the services of an independent third- <br />party company to perform material testing services and As-Built survey services. Material <br />testing services include but are not limited to on-site compaction and density testing, <br />environmental abatement/remediation sampling, and laboratory analysis. All testing reports <br />and documentation shall be submitted to DLZ and the CLIENT. <br /> <br />B. At the request of the CLIENT, DLZ will provide Limited Demolition Phase Administrative Services <br />and technical support throughout the demolition phase of this Project. DLZ has included up to <br />180 hours for this task. When requested by the CLIENT, DLZ will perform the following services <br />list below: <br /> <br />1. DLZ’s project manager will attend the pre-demolition meeting and distribute meeting <br />minutes. <br /> <br />2. DLZ’s project manager will attend on-site progress meetings throughout the Project. While <br />on-site for the progress meetings, DLZ will generally observe the status of the Work to become <br />generally familiar with and to keep the CLIENT informed about the progress and quality of <br />Work completed. <br /> <br />3. DLZ will review the Demolition Contractor’s shop drawings and submittals for general <br />conformance with the Contract Documents and maintain a file of all shop drawings and <br />submissions. DLZ’s approval of Contractor submittals shall not constitute approval of <br />deviations from the Contract Documents other than deviations explicitly called out in writing
