Bidding Quantities <br />1. The CLIENT and DLZ agree that the bidding documents will be developed such that a single <br />lump sum base bid will be solicited for the foundation demolition, utility abandonment, <br />pavement removal, earthwork, and site restoration. <br />2. DLZ may develop environmental remediation unit price items and environmental remediation <br />allowances to be incorporated into the bidding documents. <br /> <br />I. Reproduction of Project Documents <br /> <br />1. DLZ will provide up to ten hard copies and one electronic copy to the CLIENT for reproduction. <br /> <br />TASK 7 – OPINION OF PROBABLE CONSTRUCTION COSTS <br /> <br />A. Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Costs <br />1. After completing each design submittal (two total) noted in the schedule, DLZ will review the <br />collected material and information to provide to the CLIENT a more developed cost estimate. <br />This estimate will also take into account any enabling work needed to facilitate the demolition <br />and a proposed project timeline. <br /> <br />TASK 8 – BID PHASE SERVICES <br /> <br />A. Solicitation of Bids – Demolition and Site Clearing Contract <br />1. One (1) bid package is included in this Project. DLZ will assist the CLIENT to solicit bids for the <br />Project. <br />2. DLZ will prepare a pre-bid meeting agenda and handouts, conduct the pre-bid meeting, and <br />assist with the pre-bid walk-through. <br />3. DLZ will develop and issue the pre-bid meeting minutes in the form of a written addendum. <br />4. DLZ will answer bidder questions relative to the scope of work identified in the form of a <br />published addendum(s). <br />5. DLZ will attend the bid openings and assist in the review of all bids.
