Water consumption for this ECM were guaranteed using <br />Option A: Partially Measured Retrofit Isolation. For toilets and urinals, the following equations are used: <br />Toilet and Urinal Retrofits: <br />Water Savings = (# of Fixtures Replaced) x [(GPF)oid — (GPF)n,wl x (Flushes per Day) <br />Sink Aerators: <br />Water Savings = (# of Fixtures Replaced) x [(GPM)old — (GPM),,J x (Annual Operating Minutes) <br />Per the M&V Plan Summary in Exhibit E of the contract — Section E.13, the old and new GPF and GPMs <br />were sampled; flowrates were measured for 5% of each fixture type. Other variables including Flushes per Day and Annual Operating Minutes were <br />stipulated. <br />Prior to the HVAC renovation as Breckinridge County High School, domestic water was sprayed on the <br />remote chiller condensers by the rear parking lot during high load periods in the cooling season. Water <br />consumption savings from the elimination of sprinkler use in this capacity following the geothermal HVAC <br />renovation was guaranteed per the following equation: <br />Water Savings = (# of Sprinklers) x GPM,prinkler x (Annual Operating Minutes) <br />Per the M&V Plan Summary in Exhibit E of the contract — Section E.13, visual inspections were performed <br />to ensure that portable sprinklers were no longer utilized in this function following the removal of the <br />chiller system.
