The green
line, actual fuel consumption, ends slightly above the blue line, guaranteed fuel consumption. This was
driven primarily by increased ventilation levels across several facilities to improve indoor air quality,
especially at Breckinridge Middle School and Custer Elementary School. Substantial fuel savings were still
achieved across the district, driven by a 92% reduction in natural gas consumption at Breckinridge County
High School due to the geothermal HVAC renovation. While the total fuel guarantee was not met in Year
4, the excess monetary savings from electrical consumption more than makes up for the savings shortfall
(see Table 4-7).
Page Content is Subject to Confidentiality Restrictions
4-4
9519 Civic Way, Suite 100 1 Prospect, KY 40059 1502.409.4062 1 cmta.com
Performance Contracting I MEP Engineering I Zero Energy Engineering I Technology I Commissioning
