23THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA | MADISON LIFESTYLE DISTRICT - PHASE I PARKING GARAGE <br />CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS <br />As noted in Addendum #2, we are familiar with <br />utilizing the AIA A133 document which is a standard <br />form of agreement between the owner and the <br />construction manager. This is a form of contract we <br />use frequently and will have no changes if used <br />as currently written. If the City makes changes to <br />the contract, our attorney will review the changes <br />promptly and respond with questions or suggested <br />changes. We do not anticipate this process taking <br />more than two weeks. <br />COMMUNICATION <br />TECHNOLOGY <br />During the initial project Kick-Off Meeting, Wilhelm <br />will align with the City and Design team on the best <br />software applications to communicate, plan, and <br />execute the project. Below is a list of technology <br />we typically recommend employing on projects, but <br />Wilhelm is open to the use of other software and <br />systems that may integrate well into the team systems. <br />DESIGN INTEGRATION <br />Revit is an industry-leading application including <br />features for both design and construction coordination <br />and integrates well with the project team. Depending <br />on the design software strategy, we will operate <br />within Revit or AutoCAD as applicable to the effort. <br />Navisworks is our application used to integrate and <br />analyze models and is heavily used during Building <br />Information Modeling (BIM) Clash Detection and <br />Coordination efforts. This tool helps project teams <br />coordinate, communicate and resolve conflicts. <br />PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />Primavera P6 is used to plan and schedule the project <br />as well as monitor productivity of our self-perform <br />and subcontracted work. P6 as a software is only <br />as good as the Team’s ability to communicate and <br />functionally execute the schedule. Procore drastically <br />increases project efficiency and accountability by <br />streamlining and mobilizing project communications <br />and documentation. Real time data and accessibility <br />minimize costly risks and delays. Desktop, web <br />and mobile options allow teams to access critical <br />data at any time. Bluebeam provides solutions for <br />instantaneous and paperless workflow and is used by <br />the project team for communication, transmittals, RFIs, <br />etc. <br />BUDGET AND COST MANAGEMENT <br />Viewpoint Project Management software will be <br />used by the project team to create and administer <br />subcontracts and purchase orders. Viewpoint Project <br />Management software will also be used to track all <br />project cost and construction labor productivity on the <br />project. <br />COMMUNITY & MEDIA ENGAGEMENT <br />If the City is seeking assistance with Community & <br />Media Engagement, Wilhelm’s marketing team is <br />ready to help. We have extensive experience working <br />with municipalities to promote building projects, <br />engage the community during construction, and <br />plan celebratory events such as groundbreaking and <br />topping-off ceremonies. <br />2.
