Ameresco's PM will work closely with the <br />City's Representative and other stakeholders to monitor and report on the progress of the work. The PM will follow a <br />three-phase Control Plan for each specific discipline of work during construction: <br />Review contract drawings and specifications and integrate with the Design Team. <br />Check to assure that all materials and/or equipment have been tested, submitted, and approved. <br />Examination of work area to assure that all preliminary work has been completed and complies with the contract. <br />Physical examination of required material, equipment, and sample work to assure that they are on hand, conform to <br />approved shop drawings or submitted data, and are properly stored. <br />Review of the appropriate activitv hazard analvsis. <br />Involvement in the weekly briefings from Project Construction Manager/Onsite Safety Engineer. <br />Check preliminary work to ensure that it complies with contract requirements. <br />Verification of contract compliance. Verify required control inspection and testing, integration with Design Team. <br />Verify workmanship standards. <br />Check safety to include compliance with and upgrading of the safety plan and activity hazard analysis. <br />The initial phase will be repeated for each new crew to work onsite, or any time acceptable specified quality standards <br />are not being met. <br />Phase 3 — Follow . and Testing <br />Inspection of rework. <br />Checks will be conducted, and all deficiencies corrected prior to the start of additional features of work that may be <br />affected by the deficient work. <br />Verify that testing procedures and equipment comply with contract requirements. <br />Witness results of all testing and record results in the QC report. <br />Ameresco's PM will be responsible for scheduling and arranging for site inspections to document compliance with the <br />project Quality Control Plan (QCP), construction specifications, and drawings. The QCP establishes and maintains a system <br />of QC, testing, and inspections that will ensure that all work on the project complies with the contract requirements during <br />implementation/commissioning. <br />Training Customized to the Measure <br />All installed equipment must be properly maintained to perform efficiently and reliably. Ameresco will provide a customized <br />and comprehensive training program for the project to provide a smooth transition of ownership after construction. Multi - <br />modal training involves on -site, classroom, visual, and applied learning in order to ensure understanding and operational <br />aptitude. Training sessions will be recorded to provide refresher training and training for future employees and will include <br />a review of the overall installation and performance so that everyone understands the benefits of the program. A reference <br />manual will be provided including 0&M manuals, drawings, and equipment literature. Ameresco can expand this to include <br />outreach to other facility personnel or public to make them aware of the projects and their impacts. <br />Scheduling Customized to the Project and Customer <br />Ameresco will develop a schedule for the project with the City to ensure that it meets your needs and is consistent with <br />how your facilities operate. Ameresco utilizes Critical Path Method (CPM), an industry standard scheduling tool that <br />determines man hours and crew sizes for each activity. The schedule is designed to mark the proposed start and <br />completion date for various stages of the work and is prepared in such a way to include the ability to plot actual progress <br />against proposed progress.
