City of South Bend <br />Public Works Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract Qualifications <br />Life Is On Schneider <br />Electric <br />Please see Appendix G for the current high level budget cost and savings projections for a potential ground mount solar project at the <br />Olive Treatment Plant. In addition, please see Appendix G for helioscopes and technical information. <br />b. Describe the business unit dedicated to performance contracting. <br />b.i. Years in business specifically in guaranteed energy saving contracting <br />Schneider Electric was established in 1836 and has grown into a global specialist in energy management, efficiency, and infrastructure. <br />We entered the ESCO business 33 years ago with the founding of our Sustainability Business in 1992 and have been providing <br />guaranteed energy savings contracts in Indiana since 2001. <br />b.ii. Percentage of total business revenue generated by performance contracting projects or related services <br />The percentage of total business revenue by our Performance Contracting Division is 33.5%. <br />b.iii. Any local presence <br />Schneider Electric is well -versed in the unique requirements of performing Guaranteed Energy Contracts in Indiana. We bring to the <br />table: <br />Schneider Electric has been operating in Indiana for 85 Schneider has over 200 Indiana Employees <br />years <br />Offices in Fort Wayne, Huntington, Mishawaka, and <br />Indianapolis <br />One of very few GESC Providers with Pub Works <br />Certification for work over $10M <br />Schneider Electric is managing energy in 82% of Indiana <br />Towns and Cities <br />The only GESC Provider with a Indiana NABCEP certified <br />solar engineer on staff. <br />c. Attach summaries of four projects completed by this specific branch of your firm, within the past five years, for services <br />similar to this project. Include at least two projects with two years of guarantee performance history. <br />Following are the four projects completed over the past five years by our team and that share common goals of the City of <br />South Bend. The projects that have two years of guarantee performance history are: Moody Air Force Base and Naval Base <br />Coronado. Due to space limitations, the project summaries are included in Appendix C. <br />• City of LaPorte, IN: Includes 1.3 MW solar field to power 100% of wastewater plant load <br />• Richland County School District One, SC: Includes 91MW of rooftop solar was included at the Phase 1 facilities, <br />generating nearly $30M in additional guaranteed savings <br />• Moody Air Force Base, GA: Includes 2.5 MW solar array and panel system providing the base with clean, <br />renewable electrical power while offsetting the utility bill <br />Naval Base Coronado, CA: Includes 500 kW solar PV system renewable energy <br />Use or disclosure of data contained on this sheet is subject to December 10, 2024 <br />the restriction on the table of contents of this proposal Page 9 <br />
