<br />22 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ECM 4 - Air Cooled Condensing Unit Replacement – Headworks Building <br /> <br />1. Replace one 7 ½ ton Air Cooled Condensing Unit (ACCU) and associated DX coil and piping. <br />a. Demolition <br />i. Remove existing ACCU from roof of building. <br />ii. Remove refrigeration piping. <br />iii. Remove DX cooling coil in AHU. <br />iv. Retain control wiring, electrical power, and roof rails for reuse. <br />v. Reclaim and recycle refrigerant. <br />b. New Work <br />i. Provide new ACCU. <br />1. Carrier (or equal), 14.8 IEER or better. Unit to include 5 year parts and labor <br />warranty on entire unit, unit mounted fused disconnect, coil guards, vibration <br />isolators, site glass and thermal expansion valve. <br />2. Provide structural rails as needed. <br />3. Reconnect to existing electrical. <br />4. Reconnect to existing control wiring. <br />ii. Provide new DX coil in AHU <br />1. Coil to be supplied by same manufacturer as ACCU or approved by ACCU <br />manufacturer. <br />2. AHU shell penetrations and seams to be sealed. <br />3. While AHU is open, clean and disinfect condensate pan, condensate trap and <br />interior surface of cooling coil section of AHU. <br />iii. Provide new refrigerant piping. <br />1. New refrigerant piping to be sized by manufacturer based on actual field conditions. <br />2. Refrigerant suction lines to be insulated with ¾” Rubatex type insulation. All exterior <br />insulation to have a vinyl covering with stainless steel bands. Refrigerant piping to be <br />supported every 4 feet with treated wood 4x4 with support bracket allowing for expansion. <br />iv. Provide refrigerant fill, testing and startup. <br /> <br />Exclusions: <br />i. No structural work included besides adapting to the existing supports. <br />ii. Electrical work at panel. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ECM 5 - Dewatering Building - Add Cooling to Office <br />1.
