JOHNSON <br />Executive Director <br />(219) 284 -9571 <br />RE: A proposed ordinance iniltiated by the Area Plan Commission amending <br />Article 1 of Chapter 21 of the South Bend Municipal Code to specify <br />the zoning districts in which subdivision of land may occur. <br />Gentlemen: <br />The attached proposed ordinance was initiated by the Area Plan Commission <br />and was legally advertised on November 6, 1982. The Area Plan Commission <br />gave it a public hearing on November 16, 1982, at which time the following <br />action was taken: <br />Upon a motion by John Leszczynski, being seconded by Joseph <br />Serge and unanimously carried, the proposed ordinance initiated <br />by the Area Plan Commission amending Article 1 of Chapter 21 of <br />the South Bend Municipal Code to specifv the zoning districts <br />in which subdivision of land may occur is sent to the Common <br />Council with a favorable recommendation. <br />The deliberations of the Area Plan Commission and matters considered in <br />arriving at the above decision are shown in excerpts of the minutes and <br />will be forwarded to you at a later date to be made a part of this report. <br />Attached for your consideration in the review of this matter is a copy of <br />the Area Plan Commission's Staff Report. <br />Sincerely, <br />Richard S.
