ORDTPJANCE Y-dPa <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, REGULATING THE SUBDIVISION OF <br />LAND IN ZONING DISTRICTS <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />It is the intent of this Ordinance to amend Article I of Chapter 21 <br />of the South Bend Municipal Code to specify the zoning districts in which <br />subdivision of land may occur. <br />WHEREAS, Public Law 211, 1982 requires that the zoning ordinance <br />specify in which zoning districts the subdivision of land may occur; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, that the Zoning Ordinance be amended as follows: <br />SECTION 1 That Chapter 21 of the South Bend Municipal Code be <br />amended to include within Article 1, a new section 21-5.5, as follows: <br />Sec. 21.5.5 Subdivision of land <br />Subdivision of land per the City Subdivision Ordinance may occur in <br />all zoning districts. <br />SECTION 2 This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the Mayor. <br />1sr READING / <br />PUBLIC f;EARING /4_G� <br />2nd READING /� _ ` _842 'Z <br />NOT APPROVED <br />REFERRED <br />PASSED <br />'MembW of the CG r-10-9 Council <br />FILED ID CLE PS OFFICE <br />`V I 158i- <br />Irene Gammon <br />CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IND. <br />
