(ix) Completing installation and related safety protocols of EVSE. <br />(x) The Contractor should avoid power sharing configuration such that each port can supply <br />6 kW simultaneously, unless required by Indiana Michigan Power and written consent <br />from the City. <br />(xi) Commissioning/Testing of new EVSE to ensure proper installation and operational <br />settings_ <br />(xii) Installation shall be in accordance with the User Manual instructions included in <br />Attachment 2_ <br />(xiii) The Contractor shall be responsible for all necessary coordination with the power <br />company for the proposed service point as indicated and intended on the drawings. <br />(xiv) The Contractor shall furnish and install a new, current standard Tesco Cabinet <br />service point, compatible with the EVSE units, to provide fully functional operation of the <br />new service point to the acceptance of the City. <br />(xv) Coordinate with Indiana Michigan Power to select the appropriate tariff for new meters, if <br />any. <br />(xvi) If applicable, complete application for Indiana Michigan Power's IM Plugged In <br />Program to secure available incentives_ <br />(xvii) Signage to be provided by the City. Contractor to acquire posts and hardware for <br />signage installation_ <br />(xviii) Pavement striping- the 4" green parking space markings shall be traffic paint and <br />the EVSE pavement symbol shall be thermoplastic as specified in section 6-5 of the City <br />of South Bend's Construction Standards and Specification. <br />(xix) Electrical Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program (EVITPJ certification is <br />preferred but not required. <br />Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment be paid for by each and include all necessary equipment, <br />hardware, and appurtenances at each location. CONCRETE SIDEWALK <br />A. Prevailing Specifications: 2024, INDOT Standard Specifications Section 610 <br />City of South Bend Construction Standards and Specifications Section 2-2.9 and 2-5 <br />B. Additions: <br />1. Where curbing is shown on the back sides of sidewalks and curb ramps, with or without reinforcing <br />steel, shall be included in the cost per square yard of the sidewalk and curb ramp. <br />2. The Contractor shall minimize the area of disturbances not included in the plans. All areas disturbed <br />within the right of way that are not paved shall receive Kentucky Bluegrass seeding or an approved <br />mixture of Kentucky Bluegrass. The seeding shall be applied in a mixture of water and mulching <br />material in accordance with INDOT Standard Specifications section 621. The contractor is <br />responsible for watering for thirty (30) days after placement of the seed. The cost of seeding and <br />watering will not be paid for separately but shall be included in the cost of the concrete sidewalk. <br />3. Removal of existing sidewalks, curb ramps and detectable warning surfaces shall include the <br />removal of all sidewalk, curb, curb ramps, detectable warning surface, grass, subgrade, and any <br />other materials within the areas designated for new sidewalk and curb ramps in the plans.
