LaSalle Ave. & <br />N. Lafayette Blvd. The encroachment shall remain in the right of way until the time as the Board <br />of Public Works of the City of South Bend shall determine that such encroachment is in any way <br />impairing or interfering with the highway or with the free and same flow of traffic. President <br />Maradik emphasized that the Board's approval was strictly for the encroachment in the right-of- <br />way and not permission to use the AEP poles as that permission needed to come from AEP. Upon <br />a motion made by VP Molnar, seconded by Mr. Miller and carried by roll call, the encroachment <br />and revocable permit was approved. <br />FAVORABLE RECOMMENDATION - PETITION TO VACATE THE NORTH/SOUTH <br />ALLEY ON THE EAST SIDE OF 1349 FISHER ST. <br />President Maradik indicated that Sara Blanco, has submitted a request to vacate the above <br />referenced alley. President Maradik advised the Board is in receipt of favorable recommendations <br />concerning this vacation petition from the Public Works Department, Fire Department, Police <br />Department, and Community Investment who all state the request does meet the criteria of I.C. 36- <br />7-3-13. Therefore, VP Molnar made a motion to send to Common Counsil with a favorable <br />recommendation subject to the removal of the alley approach along Fisher St. and provided there <br />is no use as a driveway. Mr. Miller seconded the motion which carried by roll call. <br />APPROVE/DENY TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES <br />Upon a motion made by VP Molnar, seconded by Mr. Miller and carried by roll call, the following <br />traffic control device request was approved: <br />REMOVALS: Two (2) No Parking Signs Fri -Sat 6 PM to 6 AM <br />LOCATION: East Side of the South Corner of N. Johnson St. & Rupel St. <br />REMARKS: All Criteria Met <br />APPROVE RENEWAL OF INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER DISCHARGE PERMITS <br />
