Utility Coordination: 1. Existing underground utilities will be located as marked by Indiana Underground Plant Protection Service (IUPPS) and by available utility maps. 2. Perform utility investigation for private utilities not included in IUPPS locates. 3. The following letters will be sent to utility companies: a. Prior to topographic survey, a Notification Letter will be sent to each utility company identified on the 811 ticket to notify them of the project. b. At approximately the 30% plan stage, a letter will be sent showing the locations as identified by field locates with a request to confirm the presence and location as shown. c. At approximately 60% design, an updated sent of plans will be sent with a Conflict Analysis letter asking to confirm and identify potential conflicts. d. After all conflicts have been identified, a Work Plan request will be sent to detail any planned relocations and a schedule of work. 4. Utility potholing is anticipated to locate the fiber optic along Wall Street. 5. Once the Work Plan has been established and agreed upon, any relocations will be monitored for progress and scheduling and field visits made as appropriate in order to ensure relocations are performed as planned. 6. If necessary, the right of way and any critical features will be staked for the utility companies to ensure they are relocated at the correct location. C. Geotechnical Investigation: 1. Geotechnical Investigation will include (3) 15 foot soil borings and percolation tests in the area of the proposed pond and (3) 10 foot soil borings and percolation tests in the area of subgrade detention near Wall Street. 2. A letter report summarizing the findings of the soil borings will be prepared and submitted to the City. D. Asbestos Investigation: 1. Perform an asbestos investigation of the pool house to be demolished, identifying the type of asbestos, if any, likely to be present. E. Permitting: 1.
