315 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, IN 46601 • 574.232.8700 abonmarche.com Engineering • Architecture • Land Surveying Scope of Services Greenlawn Avenue and Wall Street Improvements The primary purpose of the project includes increasing parking along Greenlawn Avenue and Wall Street, increasing pedestrian safety along these streets while enhance traffic flow, and demolition of the existing pool A. Topographic Survey: 1. Limits of the topographic survey are as shown in Exhibit A and are described as follows: a. Greenlawn Street from Wall Street to 200 feet north of Cesar E Chavez Drive. Cross section extending 30 feet west of centerline and 125 feet east of centerline. b. Wall Street from 200 feet west of Greenlawn Street to Ironwood Drive. Cross sections extending 100 feet north and south of centerline. c. Existing pool and pool house. Survey limits bound by west 20 feet of the existing parking lot to the east, sidewalk along Wall Street to the north, future sidewalk of the new entry road to the west, and the future sidewalk to the south d. Corridor of the future new entry drive from Mishawaka Avenue to Wall Street. Cross sections extending 60 feet to the west and east of approximate centerline. e. Tree survey identifying location and type of each tree in Potawatomi Park 2. At a minimum, the topographic survey will include the location and elevation of all topographic features, including underground and overhead utilities, fences, buildings, paved and gravel surfaces, driveways, toe of slope, top of bank, headwalls, sanitary and storm sewer pipes and culverts including pipe sizes, inverts and direction of pipes, shrubs, signs, poles, manholes, valves and meters, and all individual trees. 3. Existing underground utilities will be located as marked by Indiana Underground Plant Protection Service. 4. Vacuum excavate to determine the depth of the fiber optic along Wall Street. 5. Control points and references will be set in sufficient detail to re-establish the construction centerline and construct all improvements. 6. Benchmarks will be set and referenced at each end of the project and at 500 foot intervals. 7. Establish property ownership (including property addresses) and apparent property lines through deeds of record and subdivision plats. 8. Dedicate new right of way for Wall Street. Evaluate width that is able to be dedicated, minimum of 60 feet, preferably 80 feet.
