Similarly, alcohol may be served at Company functions, such <br />as a holiday function, and, in such circumstances, consumption of alcohol in moderation <br />shall not constitute a violation of this policy, with the understanding that employee s are <br />expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate and professional manner at all times. <br />Failure to abide by these limited exceptions shall constitute a violation of this policy and <br />will subject the employee to disciplinary action. <br /> <br /> D. Illegal and Unauthorized Drugs <br />The term “illegal drugs” includes, but is not limited to, marijuana, narcotics (such <br />as heroin, opium, morphine and codeine), stimulants (such as cocaine, amphetamines, <br />methamphetamines), depressants (such as barbiturates and minor tranquilizers), and <br />hallucinogens (such as drugs known as PCP, mescaline, peyote, and LSD), other <br />controlled substances (as set forth in Schedule I or Schedule II of the Federal Controlled <br />Substances Act, 21 U.S.C. §801-12 and as defined in 21 C.F.R. Part 1308) and any other <br />drugs, chemicals or abnormal substances which may affe ct the employee’s senses, motor <br />functions or alter the individual’s perceptions while working. <br /> <br />“Unauthorized Drugs” includes prescription or over-the-counter drugs which have <br />not been specifically prescribed to that person by a licensed physician or ar e not being <br />used for the purpose or in the manner prescribed or medically intended. <br /> <br /> E. Testing <br /> This Policy establishes the following types of testing for alcohol or illegal or unauthorized <br />drugs: <br /> <br />1. Post-offer/pre-employment screening; <br /> <br />2. Random testing; <br /> <br />3. Return to work following recall from layoff and following leaves of absence where <br />the employee has been off work more than sixty (60) calendar days; <br /> <br />4. Reasonable suspicion testing; <br /> <br />5. Accident or unsafe practice testing; and <br /> <br />6. Follow-up testing. <br />
